I worked alongside the CEO and Marketing Director to rebuild and rebrand Elecsys corporate website. My goal was to not only give the site a modern, professional look but also improve product marketability and improve SEO ranking. One issue I ran into during the early stages, there was not a quick way to add/remove/update products within the site. I created a solution using Jekyll and built out a logical backend framework that would auto-generate webpages based on the markdown files I provided. This allowed me to easily tweak content without having to dig through lines of code and avoid any unnecessary errors.
